I hear you. I understand what you are experiencing.
After our second child was born I didn't want my husband to go back to work because I couldn't imagine how I was going to take care of two children by myself!
Maybe you already know this but if you wake your baby to feed her during the day (about every three hours) she will learn to sleep at night pretty quick. It takes quite a bit of effort to wake a sleeping newborn but it's possible.
Ours slept through the night at around eight weeks.
Everything will be fine. You will do a great job.
Kate, Its been a week since you posted that one...hope things are alittle better for you a week later. you didn't ask but here's another tip from an older parent....if anyone offers to come and help out...don't turn them down..take all the help you're offered, and if that isn't enough, ask someone(s) to come and stay for a spell till you get a new routine established. I'll be praying. being a mama of young ones is the hardest job on the planet- dm
